Jonathan "Pipeliner" Mitchell
I bring over 15 yrs of hands on experience in the energy sector, working directly in pipeline construction, inspection, and regulatory compliance on midstream infrastructure projects. I understand how federal policy impacts jobs, safety, and energy costs because I’ve lived it in the field. I’m also pursuing a degree in Petroleum Engineering, strengthening my technical and economic understanding of energy policy. My background reflects strong work ethic, accountability, leadership, and a no nonsense approach to problem solving, focusing on results, not politics.
Energy and border security:
On energy, I will push to expand domestic oil and gas production, streamline permitting, protect pipeline infrastructure, and roll back regulations that raise costs, this will help to lower fuel and electricity prices while keeping good paying jobs here.
On border security, I will support finishing physical barriers where needed, restoring enforcement of existing law, increasing resources for Border Patrol, and work with local law enforcement to stop fentanyl and human trafficking.
